Thank you for contacting Soaps by a Chemist. We are pleased at the opportunity to be carried in your store. Please email charlotte@soapsbyachemist.com if you would like to be considered as a Soaps by a Chemist stockist.
Soaps by a Chemist is a small business located in San Diego, California. Soaps are made in small batches with all natural oils and butters along with either essential oils or fragrance oils.
These one-of-a-kind soaps are made by me, Charlotte. I have my masters in chemistry and formulated my soaps to be cleansing but not drying to the skin. Your customers will love them.
Placing a Wholesale Order
Minimum order quantity is $200. You must have a resale certificate. Open to US-based businesses only. All orders over $1,000 will receive a 5% discount.
Order requests are sent via email to charlotte@soapsbyachemist.com. Invoices will be sent to the email provided.
Email charlotte@soapsbyachemist.com for a current line-sheet with images of products.
Shipping to be calculated upon receipt of order. Buyer pays shipping. Free delivery for orders within 15 miles.
Payment is due upon receipt of invoice. Order will be shipped/delivered in receipt of payment. All wholesale orders are shipped within 7-10 business days (depending on size of order) and if all requested products are in stock. Fragrances vary from season to season and in-stock quantities can vary. In-stock quantities are available upon request. Otherwise, soaps can take 6+ weeks to restock.
Custom orders require a minimum 6+ week notice and 50% deposit paid up front.
Sellers
Products are not to be re-branded or repackaged in ANY way.
Products are not to be sold on 3rd party retail sites such as: Amazon, Ebay, Etsy, Alibaba, Facebook shops, Poshmark, or in any private groups without express written consent of Soaps by a Chemist.
Online sales are permitted ONLY if the online store supports a brick & mortar storefront and if the prices are the same or higher than soapsbyachemist.com prices.
Soaps by a Chemist does not support drop shipping.

~Wholesale soap price is $6 each. MSRP is $10+.

~Wholesale lip balm price $2.50 each. MSRP $4.50.

~Wholesale wooden poplar soap dishes $3. MSRP $7.
~Wholesale sisal soap saver bags $2. MSRP $5.
Packaging
Soaps are labeled with a simple paper vellum band with product title, scent, weight, and business name on front. Ingredients and contact information are on the back. Paper bands may slip down over time. Boxes are being researched as an option for packaging although most of my current customers love the lesser packaging option.
Discounts
Soaps by a Chemist may at our sole discretion apply a discount on very large quantity orders processed which we shall notify you of at that relevant time.
Substitutions
If Soaps by a Chemist is unable to provide the desired product(s) ordered or if we are unable to comply with the desired time frame set up in your order, we will inform you of this by email as soon as reasonably possible upon becoming aware of any such issues. Soaps by a Chemist may need to substitute scents due to availability.
Damage Claims
Any claims for damaged or mis-shipped items must be made within 10 days of receipt of order by emailing pictures of damage to charlotte@soapsbyachemist.com.
Soaps by a Chemist does not accept returns at this time to the nature of our products. All sales are final.
Territory Protection
Soaps by a Chemist reserves the right to deny sales to a licensed reseller based on proximity to other Soaps by a Chemist customers. Resellers with protection will be determined by/at the sole discretion of the seller. Territory protection policy subject to change by Soaps by a Chemist.
Soaps by a Chemist reserves the right to revise these Wholesale terms from time to time.
